Ah yes, Valentine's Day!

What can I say about Valentine's Day? It's a cute holiday. Cute cuddly bears holding hearts and such... (Don't get me started on the commercialism for the day. See the Halloween post if you want to know how I feel about it). ANYWAY do you know the history behind Valetine's Day? Not as cute and cuddly as you might think... Did You Know?- 192 million Valentine’s Day cards are exchanged annually, making Valentine’s Day the second-most popular greeting-card-giving occasion (Christmas being the first.) (This total excludes packaged kids valentines for classroom exchanges.) (Source: Hallmark research) Well there ya go. I got four Valentines today: three from female coworkers and one from my brother. (Oh and I got socks from my Dad and Alison). I've just been handing out dark chocolate. Yum. I am neither for or against Valentine's Day. Every day is what you make of it. So if you love someone, love them everyday!
